How To Migrate SoftNAS® Instances/VMs
How To Migrate SoftNAS® Instances/VMs
If your instance of SoftNAS has not received the latest updates and features, or changes to our documentation do not reflect what you see in your console, it may be time to migrate your SoftNAS instance to the latest version. Direct upgrade to the latest SoftNAS version is only supported for users with SoftNAS version 5.x and above. If on an older version, the below migration options may be required.
Buurst recommends a reboot of your system be performed prior to performing a system upgrade or migration. This ensures that the upgrade/migration is performed on a stable system.
