Clearing a Template from FlexFiles Architect
To clear a template from FlexFiles Architect , all transactions must be stopped, and the queues empty. To stop all transactions, open FlexFiles, check each component of your template for activity. If activity is showing, as identified by the triangular "play" icon, right-click the service or component in question and select stop. If it is a component with eligible services to be stopped, the option will present itself. Typically, all services related to a given dataflow will be stopped if you ensure you stop services at the top level of the workflow's hierarchy. In the example below, we are stopping services at the FlexFiles Flow level of the operation for the entire Remote Factory Aggregation.
If instead we had the Remote Factory Aggregation open, and stopped services for Remote Factory Node 1, we would have to check that Remote Factory Node 2 was stopped as well.
Deleting the Source Node
Deleting the Source Node is a simple, one-click operation. Simply select the 'Delete' button from the 'Operate' panel. This will clear all configurations for the current node.
Deleting the Target Node
Deleting the Target Node is a little more complicated.
- First, you must delete the Remote Input Ports. Right-click and select ‘delete’ from the drop-down for each Remote Input Port.
- Next, delete the ‘Remote Node Output Connections’, using the same method as the input ports. Right-click and 'Delete' each 'Remote Node Output'.
Note: If you run into any problems deleting the Remote Node Input or Output Ports, try deleting the connector first. - Finally select the ‘Remote Factory Aggregation’ panel, and select the ‘Delete’ button from the ‘Operate’ panel.
